Benzhexol (HCl) is anti-spasmodic drug. It relieves the abdominal pain and cramps. Benzhexol (HCl) is used in parkinsonism (mental disorder) of all cuases.Like atropine it also causes dry mouth , blurred vision, constipation, confusion and hallucinations. Salicylate of neostigmine is its effcetive antidote.

Indications
Benzhexol (HCl) is primarily indicated in conditions like Extrapyramidal disorders, Parkinsonism.
Benzhexol (HCl) is also indicated for secondary conditions like Advanced ovarian cancer.
Contraindications
Benzhexol (HCl) is contraindicated in conditions like Narrow-angle glaucoma, Hypersensitivity to the drug, Glaucoma.

Many patients derive maximum benefit from this daily total of 6 to 10 mg, but some patients, chiefly those in the post-encephalitic group, may require a total daily dose of 12 to 15 mg. |

Side Effects
Benzhexol (HCl) in overdosage may give rise to further complications which include Tachycardia .
