Xipamide
Xipamide is a diuretic and antihypertensive agent. Xipamide is a similar to frusemide but slower onset and longer duration of action. Chemically Xipamide is 5-(aminosulfony)-4-chloro-N (2, 6-dimethylphenyl)-2-hydroxybenzamide. Xipamide is used in control of high blood pressure and in the treatment of fluid over load.
