Indications
Sotalol (HCl) is primarily indicated in conditions like Cardiac arrhythmia, Hypertension, Ischaemic heart disease, Life-threatening arrhythmias including ventricular tachyarrhythmias, Prophylaxis of paroxysmal atrial tachycardia or fibrillation.
Sotalol (HCl) is also indicated for secondary conditions like Myocardial infarction, Thyrotoxicosis.
Contraindications
Sotalol (HCl) is contraindicated in conditions like Acidosis, Bronchospasm, Atrioventricular block, Diabetic ketoacidosis.
