Propantheline (Br) is antimuscarinic with action, uses and adverse effects similar to those of atropine. Propantheline (Br) is used as an antispasmodic for gastro-intestinal and urinary complaints. Propantheline (Br) is also reduces the secretion of gastric acid and used in peptic ulcer disease.
