Side Effects

Mianserin in overdosage may give rise to further complications which include Hepatic damage , Jaundice , Jaundice , Breast cancer , Polyartheopathy.

Mianserin produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Agranulocytosis, Blood dyscrasias, Anxiety, Aplastic Anemia , Aplastic anemia. Careful monitoring is needed with proper medical management.

Mianserin is known to cause more or less tolerable side effects which are usually transient. These include Drowsiness, Giddiness, Increased appetite.

Warnings / Precautions

Caution should be done in the patient with bone marrow depression, usually presenting as granulocytopenia or agranulocytosis, has been reporting during treament. If a patient shows fever, sore throat, stomatitis or other signs of infection, treatment should be stopped and a full blood count should be discountinued. Treatment should be discontinued if convulsions or jaundice occurs.
