Gonadorelin (HCl) is the mono or dihydrochloride salt of gonadorelin which is a synthetic form of hypothalamic gonadotrophin-releasing hormone, structurally identical to the natural hormone. Gonadorelin (HCl) is used in the treatment of amenorrhea and infertility due to ovarian hormone deficiency.

Side Effects

Gonadorelin (HCl) produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Anaphylactic reactions. Careful monitoring is needed with proper medical management.

Gonadorelin (HCl) is known to cause more or less tolerable side effects which are usually transient. These include Abdominal discomfort, Flushing, Headache, Hypersensitivity reactions, Increase menstrual bleeding, Irritation at injection site, Light headedness, Local swelling, Nausea, Pruritus , Septicemia, Skin rash, Thrombophlebitis .

Warnings / Precautions

It is not known whether this drug is excreted in human milk. Because many drugs are excreted in human milk, caution should be exercised when Gonadorelin (HCl) is administered to a nursing woman. Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients have not been established.pipuitary adenoma, pregnancy, lactation DIN. Thyroid & adrenal should be evaluated.
