Gliclazide is used in conjunction with proper diet and exercise to decrease blood sugar levels. It also reduces the cardiovascular complications of diabetic patient.

The signs and symptoms that are produced after acute overdosage of Gliclazide are Hypoglycemia, Cerebral edema.
