Fosfestrol is primarily indicated in conditions like Adjunct in the treatment of opiod dependence, Breast cancer, Dermatomyositis, Nasopharyngeal fibromas, Oncology, Parathyroid carcinoma, Plasmacytomas, Prostatic cancer, Rheumatoid arthritis.
Contraindications
Fosfestrol is contraindicated in conditions like Hypertension, Cardiac failure, Liver diseases, Cerebrovascular disease.

Side Effects
Fosfestrol in overdosage may give rise to further complications which include Breast enlargement , CHF, Congestive heart failure , Pulmonary embolism , Testicular atrophy , Bone marrow toxicity , Breast tenderness , CVA , Mental disturbances , Pulmonary thrombosis .
Fosfestrol produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Fluid & sodium retention, Thromboembolic cardiovascular accidents. Careful monitoring is needed with proper medical management.
The signs and symptoms that are produced after acute overdosage of Fosfestrol are Fluid retension.
Fosfestrol is known to cause more or less tolerable side effects which are usually transient. These include Anorexia , Diarrhea, Dizziness, Fever, Nausea and vomiting, Perineal pain, Perineal pruritis.
