Dipipanone should be used with extreme caution in patients with hyperthyroidism, adrenocortical insufficiency, prostatic hypertrophy, hypotension secondary to hypovolumic shock, diabetes mellitus and phaeochromocytoma. The dose should be reduced in patients with impaired renal or hepatic function.
