Desvenlafaxine, also known as O-desmethylvenlafaxine, is an antidepressant of the serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor .Desvenlafaxine is a synthetic form of the major active metabolite of venlafaxine.

Interference in Pathology

Desvenlafaxine may interfere in the diagnosis of change in Cholestrol level, change in lipoprotein level, change in triglycerides.
