Nabilone is a synthetic cannabinoid with antiemetic and anxiolytic properties. Nabilone is used for the control of chemotherapy- induced nausea and vomiting, unresponsive to conventional antiemetic therapy. This is a controlled subs (hallucination) listed in the US code of federal regulation.

To minimize side effects, it is recommended that the lower starting dose be used and that the dose be increased as necessary. A dose of 1 or 2 mg the night before may be useful.

History of psychiatric disorders; elderly; hypertension; heart disease; adverse effects on mental statecan persists for 48-72 hours after stopping. Drowsiness may affect performance of skilled tasks (e.g Driving); effects of alcohol enhanced. should used with caution with a historic pateint of psychiatric disorder or with depression.
