Penbutolol in overdosage may give rise to further complications which include Depression , Bleeding , Chest pain .

Penbutolol produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Bradycardia , Hypoglycemia , Hypotension, Bronchospasm , Cardiogenic shock. Careful monitoring is needed with proper medical management.
