It should not be used in patients with leber's hereditary optic atrophy and during pregnancy. It Should not be taken by anyone who is currently taking other NSAIDs. This medication may mask the signs of an infection such as a fever. It may make your skin more sensitive to the sun. So avoid excessive sun exposure. Should be used with caution in epilepsy, oedema

Interference in Pathology

Floctafenine may interfere in the diagnosis of Lowers resum thyroid hormone levels.
