Side Effects

Tice-BCG in overdosage may give rise to further complications which include Arthralgia , Anemia , Anemia, Malaise , Anemia , Renal toxicity , Leukopenia.

Tice-BCG is known to cause more or less tolerable side effects which are usually transient. These include Abdominal pain, Anorexia , Cramps , Cystitis, Diarrhea, Dysuria, Genital pain, Hematuria, Nausea and vomiting, Urinary frequency, UTI .

Warnings / Precautions

Vaccination should not be given to pregnant women unless the benefits outweigh the risks. It should be used with caution during lactation. To be most effective, persons who have been vaccinated should stay away from active cases of tuberculosis for 6 to 12 weeks. People with impaired immune systems (due to chemotherapy or radiation treatment) should not receive this vaccine. Inform the doctor if taking any steroid medication (prednisone-type drug) or antibiotic.
