Ticlopidine (HCl) acts by producing changes (may be irreversible) to the platelet membrane reducing their ability to form blood clots with fibrin. itused in combination with other antiplatelet drugs to reduce the risk of further thrombolytic events. itperticularly useful in patients who cannot tolerate aspirin.

Side Effects
