Side Effects

Roxatidine is known to cause more or less tolerable side effects which are usually transient. These include Constipation , Diarrhea, Dizziness, Headache, Nausea and vomiting, Restlessness, Skin rashes.

Warnings / Precautions

Roxitadine should be used with caution in patients with impaired kidney or liver function. Intravenous injection should be given slowly and intravenous infusion is recommended in patients with cardiovascular impairment.

Interference in Pathology

Roxatidine may interfere in the diagnosis of Increased hepatic enzyme concentrations..
