Listerial meningitis (adjunct)

Disease caused by Listeria monocytogenes especially in those idivisuals (animals and humans) who are immunocompromised or pregnant. In sheep and cattle, it largely affect central nervous system. in monograstic animal and fowl, chief manifestations are septicemia and necrosis of liver.Meningitis, bacteremia, anf focal metastatic disease are associated with listeriosis.
