Description
Alstonia scholaris Linn.R.Br is a tree, : glabrous in texture, 12-18 m long, 2-2.5 m girth, is evergreen, errect, branched
Alstonia scholaris Linn.R.Br's Leaves oblong-obovate, obtuse, and sharp pointed in shape, dark green in color, size is usually 10-20 by 3.8-6.3 cm. 4-7 in a whorl, dark green above, pale and covered with a whitish bloom beneath, base tapering; main nerves numerous, nearly horizontal, parallel uniting in a intramarginal nerve; petiole 6-13 mm long. Texture is coriaceous.

In umbellately branched many-flowered pubescent capitate cymes; peduncles 2.5-5 cm long; pedicles very short; bracts oblong, obtuse, ciliate.
