Description

Psoralea corylifolia Linn.. An erect annual, 30-180 cm in height. Leaves broadly elliptic, inciso-dentate. Flowers borne in axillary long peduncled heads, bluish-purple or yellow. Pods ndehiscent, ovate, mucronate, somewhat compressed, dark chocolate to almost black, 3.5-4.5 mm x 2.0-3.0 mm. Seeds, smooth, adhering to the pericarp.
