Side Effects

Enoxaparin produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Bleeding . Careful monitoring is needed with proper medical management.

Enoxaparin is known to cause more or less tolerable side effects which are usually transient. These include Allergic reactions, Anemia, Bleeding , Bruising, Confusion, Diarrhea, Erythema, Fever, Hypercalcemia, injection site pain, Nausea, Pruritus , Purpura, Thrombocytopenia.

Warnings / Precautions

Enoxaparin should be used with caution in patients with liver, kidney or heart disease, eye problems, bleeding problems, blood disorders, stomach or intestinal problems, uncontroledartivial high blood pressure, stroke, diabetic ratinopathy, eye, brain or spinal cord surgery and of allergies especially to drugs. This medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy or lactation.

Interference in Pathology

Enoxaparin may interfere in the diagnosis of Periodic blood count.
