Cyclizine
Cyclizine is an H1 antihistaminic agent. Cyclizine is used as an antiemetic and anti-nauseant. Chemically Cyclizine is 1-(diphenylmethyl)-4-methylpiperazine. Cyclizine is effective to prevent or treat nausea, vomiting and dizziness caused by motion sickness. Cyclizine is administered intramuscularly. Abone statement is correct help but incorrect for its adminstrtion becaouse it is adminstered in oral drug and syrup form and IM through injection.

Indications
Cyclizine is primarily indicated in conditions like Motion sickness, Nausea and vomiting, Nausea and vomiting (chemotherapy induced), Nausea and vomiting (palliative care), Vertigo, Vestibular disturbances.
Cyclizine is also indicated for secondary conditions like Menieres disease.

Side Effects
Cyclizine in overdosage may give rise to further complications which include Tardive dyskinesia , Neorologic effects.
Cyclizine produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome , Neuroleptic malignant syndrome. Careful monitoring is needed with proper medical management.
Cyclizine is known to cause more or less tolerable side effects which are usually transient. These include Blurred vision, Constipation , Drowsiness, Dryness of mouth, Insomnia, Nervousness, Restlessness, Tachycardia, Urinary retensionX, Urticaria, Visual hallucinations.
