Xylometazoline (HCl) is a direct acting alpha-adrenoceptor agonist, used as vasoconstrictor for nasal decongestion. It promotes nasal drainage and relieves nasal stuffiness. Xylometazoline (HCl) is used to relieve symptoms associated with a cold, hay fever, allergies, sinus infections and other related conditions.
