Side Effects

Tolazoline (HCl) in overdosage may give rise to further complications which include Apprehension , Leucopenia, Nausea , Shivering , Sweating , Thrombocytopenia , Vomiting .

Tolazoline (HCl) produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Severe Hypotension , Cardiac arrhythmias, Shock . Careful monitoring is needed with proper medical management.

Tolazoline (HCl) is known to cause more or less tolerable side effects which are usually transient. These include Flushing, Piloerection .

Where vital signs, as oxygenation, acid-base status, fluid and electrolytes can be monitored and maintained, use tolazoline in a highly supervised setting. It should not be use in patients with ischaemic heart disease, hypotension, peptic ulcer.
