Iloprost
Iloprost is a vasodialator (expands the blood vessels) and platelet aggregation inhibitor.Iloprost is carbacyclin analog of prostaglandin I-2 in which the enolether oxygen of prostaglandin is replaced by a methylene group and the lower side chain is further modified in order to enhance the biological potency as well as the metabolic stability of the chemical. its metabolic half life is longer than that of prostaglandin I-2. Iloprost is effective in the treatment of peripheral vascular disease. There are no combination products that contain this drug Iloprost is a synthetic analogue of prostacylin.

Side Effects
