Indications
Etretinate is primarily indicated in conditions like Autosomal dominant ichthyosis, Bullous dermatoses, Dariers disease, Epidermal neoplastic disorders, Keratiniztion disorders, Lichen planus, Nevus unius laterlis, Psoriasis, Sex-linked ichthyosis.
Contraindications
Etretinate is contraindicated in conditions like Diabetes mellitus, Pregnancy.

Side Effects
Etretinate in overdosage may give rise to further complications which include Congenital malformation , Abortions, Hyperlipidemic effects , Osseous abnormalities , Intracranial hypertension .
Etretinate produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Hepatotoxicity , Vit A overdosage, Elevation of liver enzymes. Careful monitoring is needed with proper medical management.
The signs and symptoms that are produced after acute overdosage of Etretinate are Severe headache, Drowsiness, Nausea & vomiting, Irritability, Vit A poisoning.
