Salsalate in overdosage may give rise to further complications which include Stomatitis , Hearing loss , Vomiting .

Children and teenager may not use this drug if they have chicken pox,influenza because reye's syndrome may occur. Salsalate should be used in pregnancy when clearly needed. This drug may cause stomach bleeding so care should be taken. Take Salsalate with food,milk or antacid. Avoid alcohol.
