Iopamidol
Iopamidol is an iodinated nonionic diagnostic agent, used for a variety of radiographic procedures including angiography, arhtrography, myelography, and urography. Iopamidol has also been used orally or by enema for visualization of the gastro-intestinal tract.

Side Effects
Iopamidol in overdosage may give rise to further complications which include Severe Renal impairement.
Iopamidol produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Anaphylactoid reactions , Bronchospasm , Bronchospasm, Dyspnea, Acute Renal Failure , Acute renal failure, Transient ECG abnormalities, Severe urticaria. Careful monitoring is needed with proper medical management.
Iopamidol is known to cause more or less tolerable side effects which are usually transient. These include Bradycardia , Coughing, dizziness, Flushing, Headache, Hypotension , Metallic taste, Nausea, Pallor, Pruritus , Rhinitis , Sensation of warmth, Sneezing, Sweating , Tachycardia, Visual disturbances, Vomiting , Weakness.
