Cisatracurium is a neuromuscular blocking agent, acts by competing with acetylcholine for receptors on the motor end-plate of the neuromuscular junction to produce blockade. Cisatracurium is a single isomer of atrcurium. Cisatracurium is more potent and has a slightly longer duration of action than atracurium. Cisatracurium is used as a muscle relaxant in general anaesthesia for surgical procedures.

Side Effects
