Tenecteplase
A fibrinolytic drug, which acts by activating plasminogen to form plasmin. It is used in the treatment of myocradial infarction. It is given as a bolus injection.

Indications
Tenecteplase is primarily indicated in conditions like Acute myocardial infarction.
Contraindications
Tenecteplase is contraindicated in conditions like Coma, Trauma, Surgery, Bleeding diathesis, Oesophageal varices, Pain management, General dose, Resistant dermatophyte infections of skin or finger nails (not toe nails), Adjunct in the treatment of P. Vivax and P. Ovale malaria (eradication of liver stages), Adjunct to quinine in the treatment of P. Falciparum malaria, Adjunct to quinine in the treatment of falciparum malaria.

Side Effects
