Elimination: plasma half-life is ~ 6 hr, renal excretion is 88 - 90 %.

The signs and symptoms that are produced after acute overdosage of Ropinirole (HCl) are Dizziness, Confusion , Nausea, Agitation, Orthostatic hypotension, Chest pain, Vomiting, Dystonia.

Ropinirole (HCl) is known to cause more or less tolerable side effects which are usually transient. These include Abdominal pain, Confusion, Leg edema, Nausea, Vomiting .

Warnings / Precautions

Ropinirole should be used with caution in patients with mild to moderate hepatic impairment and renal impairment (avoid in severe); severe cardiovascular disease; major psychotic disorders; avoid abrupt withdrawl.
