Side Effects

Estazolam in overdosage may give rise to further complications which include Dependency .

Estazolam produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Central nervous system disorders. Careful monitoring is needed with proper medical management.

The signs and symptoms that are produced after acute overdosage of Estazolam are Coma, Seizures, Confusion , Fainting , Tremor, Slurred speech, Shallow breathing, Extreme drowsiness, acute over dose can be fatal, Feeling light headed, Slow heartbeat, Muscle weakness.

Estazolam is known to cause more or less tolerable side effects which are usually transient. These include Confusion, Drowsiness, Gait disorder, Headache, Light-headedness, Sleepiness, Verligo, Vertigo.

Warnings / Precautions

Estazolam should be used with caution in patients with any pre-existing kidney disease, liver disease, history of drug dependence, depression, breathing problems, apnea, seizures or if have any allergies. This medication should not be used during pregnancy or lactation.

Interference in Pathology

Estazolam may interfere in the diagnosis of Urinanalysis .
