Carcinoid syndrome

symptoms produced by the release of serotonin from carcinoid tumour of the gastrointestinal tract that metastasized to the liver and characterized by irregular mottled blushing, flat angiomas of the skin, acquired tricuspid and pulmonary stenosis with regurgitation , diarrhea, bronchial spasm, mental aberration and excretion of large quantities of 5- hydroxyindolacetic acid.
