Bacterial endocarditis

Proliferative inflammation of the endocardium caused by direct invasion of bacteria characterized by presence of vegetation on the surface of endocardium or in the endocardium itself, most commonly involving the deformity and destruction of heart valve.It may occur as a primary disorder or as a complication of or in association with another disease.
