Antimony is a metallic element that is toxic and irritating to the skin and mucous membrane.Poisoning due to ingestion of antimony compound, rarely due to industrial exposure called antimony poisoning.Its symptoms are similar to those of acute arsenic poisoning, with vomiting as a prominent symptom.
