Atrophic vaginitis

Thining and atrophy of vaginal epithelium associated with estrogen deficiency and occuring in post menopausal women.common types are senile vulvovaginitis in which there is intense itching around vagina.often with burning,almost complete lack of vaginal secretion.senile vaginitis or adhesive vaginitis characterized by formation of superficial erosionwhich often adhere to opposed surface, sometime causing obliteration of the vaginal canal.
