Acute hypotension during spinal anesthesia

1. Severe hypotension during loss of sensation produced by injection of local anesthetic solution(s) into the spinal subarachnoid space; Syn: subarachnoid anesthesia. 2. Severe hypotension during loss of sensation produced by disease of the spinal cord.
