Heparin induced thrombocytopenia

Heparin is an anticoagulant and principal component of various tissues (especially liver and lung) and mast cells in human, prevent platelet agglutination and consequent thrombus formation may cause decrease in number of platelet in circulating blood (thrombocytopenia).
