Sepals 6 mm long, elliptic-oblong, subacute, 3-5 nerved, purple green. Petals blue, 1 cm long, obovate, reticulately veined. Stamens 3 perfect and 3 staminodes. Filaments all bearded with blue hairs; anthers of fertile stamens blue, those of the staminodes yellow.
