Description
Pistacia mutica Fisch. and Mey.. Deciduous tree or shrub, growing slowly to moderately fast, up to 20 to 30 feet tall and wide (6-9 m); opposite odd-pinnately compound leaves with 5 to 11 glossy oval leaflets; petioles not winged; strong smell of resin. The fruits are bright red, becoming brown in winter. The terebinth has reddish flowers in large panicles, in late spring.
