Description

Tephrosia purpurea (Linn.) Pers.. A polymorphic, much branched, suberect, perennial herb 30-60 cm high. Leaves imparipinnate, leaflets 9-12, narrow, oblanceolate, glabrous above, obscurely silky below. Flowers red or purple. Pods slightly recurved, glabrescent. Seeds 5-10 greenish-grey, smooth
