Matricaria chamomilla Linn.. A glabrous much-branched aromatic herb about 30 cm high, leaves 2-3 pinnatisect; segments almost filiform. Heads solitary, long-peduncled, 1.3-2 cm diam. Involucral bracts oblong, margins white. Receptacle conic, elongate during fruiting. Ligules white, much longer than the bracts, deflexed after flowering or 0.
