Description

Acacia arabica (Lam.) Willd. is a tree, : spiny in texture, is evergreen, branched. It must be allowed to mature for a year before being used medicinally. In some species, leaflets are suppressed, and the leaf-stalks (petioles) become vertically flattened, and serve the purpose of leaves; these are known as phyllodes.
