Side Effects

Diclofenac (K) is known to cause more or less tolerable side effects which are usually transient. These include Dizziness, Elevation of liver enzymes, Erythema multiforme, GI hemorrhage, GI upset, Headache, Rashes , Vertigo, Vision disturbances.

Warnings / Precautions

Diclofenac potassium should be used with caution in patients with intrinsic coagulation defects and those on anticoagulant therapy. It should be used with caution in patients with compromised cardiac function, asthma, hypertension and other conditions predisposing to fluid retention. It should be used with extra care in the presence of existing uncontrolled infection. Perform periodic auditory (hearing) function test during chronic therapy. Discontinue drug if skin reaction occurs.
