Indoramin (HCl) is a receptor blocking agent. Chemically Indoramin (HCl) is identified as N-[ 1-[2-(1H-indol-3-yl) ethyl ]-4-piperidinyl] benzamide. It produces relaxation of blood vessels and lowers blood pressure. Indoramin (HCl) is used in hypertension and in prophylaxis of migraine. Indoramin (HCl) is prepared by chemical synthesis. Indoramin (HCl) is not available in any combiantion preparations. Indoramin (HCl) is administered orally.
