Alcuronium (Cl) is a competitive or non-depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent. Alcuronium (Cl) is a synthetic derivative of the curare alkaloid Toxiferine. Alcuronium (Cl) is used to provide muscle relaxation in general anaesthesia (loss of conciousness) for surgical procedures.it has an intermediate onset and duration of action.

Side Effects
Alcuronium (Cl) produces potentially life-threatening effects which include Anaphylactoid reactions , Hypotension, Bronchospasm , Cardiac Arrest , Cardiac arrest, Bronchospasm. Careful monitoring is needed with proper medical management.
The signs and symptoms that are produced after acute overdosage of Alcuronium (Cl) are Prolonged respiratory & muscular paralysis.
Alcuronium (Cl) is known to cause more or less tolerable side effects which are usually transient. These include GI symptoms, Increase in heart rate , Skin reactions.
