Side Effects

Sorafenib in overdosage may give rise to further complications which include Hypertension , Hemorrhage, Myocardial infarction , gastrointestinal perforation, drug induced hepatitis.

Sorafenib is known to cause more or less tolerable side effects which are usually transient. These include Abdominal pain, Alopecia, Anorexia , Diarrhea, Fatigue, Nausea, Rash, Weight loss.

Dermatological toxicities, Haemorrhage, Cardiac Ischemia and/or infraction, QT interval prolongation, Gastrointestinal perforation, wound healing complications, elderly patient, hepatic impairment, warfarin co administration

Interference in Pathology

Sorafenib may interfere in the diagnosis of Hypophosphataemia, Increased Lipase, Increased amylase, hypocalcaemia.
