Dipivefrine (HCl) is a prodrug metabolized to adrenaline. Dipivefrine (HCl) is used topically as eye drops to reduce intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, where the prodrug passes through the cornea more readily than adrenaline.

Side Effects

Dipivefrine in overdosage may give rise to further complications which include Photosensitivity , Headache , Eye irritation , Blurred vision , Eye pain.

Warnings / Precautions

Care should be taken in allergic patients. If you are using other eye drops,use them 10 min apart. Donot touch the dropper.
