Side Effects

The signs and symptoms that are produced after acute overdosage of Nylidrin are Blurred vision, Fever, Metallic taste, Chest pain.

Nylidrin is known to cause more or less tolerable side effects which are usually transient. These include Chills, Flushing, Headache, Nausea and vomiting, Nervousness, Trembling.

Warnings / Precautions

Warnings and precautions should be considered if the patient have any pre-existing conditions, such as: chest pain, heart disease, thyroid disease, ulcers, any allergies. This medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known if this medication is found in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. Nylidrin is not indicated in the management of normal aging or of patients with presenile dementia (Alzheimer's Disease).
