Side Effects

Hepatitis A Vaccine in overdosage may give rise to further complications which include Convulsions , Anaphylactic reactions .

Hepatitis A Vaccine is known to cause more or less tolerable side effects which are usually transient. These include Abdominal pain, Anorexia , Fatigue, Fever, Headache, Malaise, Myalgia, Nausea, Pain , Pain at injection site, Pharyngitis, Redness, Tenderness , Vomiting , Warmth feeling.

Warnings / Precautions

Patient on the hemodialysis or with an impaired immune system may require additional doses of the vaccine. The administration of vaccine should be postponed in subjects suffering from acute severe febrile illnes. Under no circumtances should the vaccine be administered intravascularly.
