Eprosartan
Eprosartan is an angiotensin-II receptor antagonist with actions, uses and adverse effects similar to those of losartan. It has been introduced more recently and is used in the treatment of hypertension. Like other memebers of this class, it may be used as an alternative to an ACE inhibitor in the management of heart failure.
